Ian McKellen is expected to play Gandalf again in the film version of "The Hobbit." Is Peter Jackson 's Hobbit film actually going to happen? Rumors had been flying for months -- since at least this summer's San Diego Comic-Con -- that it was on, then that there wasn't even a script so it could well be off, then that it was on again.
