Kick up your heels when Va.-based, award-winning bluegrass band "Nothin' Fancy" will perform a special concert at Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Church on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. "Nothin' Fancy" formed in September of 1994 to compete in the East Coast Bluegrass Championship in Crimora.

Award-winning national and international bluegrass and gospel acts take the stage today and Saturday during the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival in Wilmington.

MOUNTAIN VIEW - Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver will headline the seventh annual Fall Bluegrass Festival in Mountain View, appearing tonight as part of the gospel night segment.

With Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Nothin' Fancy, Steep Canyon Rangers, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out and more It's the ninth go-round for Nothin' Fancy's hometown festival, and the band continues to bring in top-flight acts.

Nothin' Fancy, will host the 9th Annual Nothin' Fancy Bluegrass Festival September 24th, 25th, and 26th at Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista, VA.

Patent Pending has announced that Buster Sexton has joined the band on banjo, a change necessitated by the sudden passing of founding member Jim Steptoe on August 30.
