Seattle's Minus the Bear is a band that sneaks up on you. The name is a bit twee and sounds like a character in a kid's picture primer about multiplication.

Hailing from Athens, Ga., Twin Tigers recently rolled into Flagstaff, rocking the Orpheum on tour with indie superstars Minus the Bear and The Antlers.

As it neared 8 p.m. last Tuesday night, eager fans piled into the Westcott Theater located in downtown Syracuse.
