Matthew Treads The Boards in "Private Lives"

Baz Bamigboye gives word in his column that Matthew Macfadyen and Kim Cattrall will star in Noel Coward's Private Lives. He states:
The pair will star in Noel Coward's Private Lives, directed by Richard Eyre, with performances at the Vaudeville Theatre on the Strand for a ten-week season from February 24. The official first night is March 3.
'I think it's a great choice,' said Kim, who is on location in Morocco shooting Sex And The City 2. also: Private Lives will begin 'outta town' at the Theatre Royal, Bath, from February 10 until February 20, and then head straight into the West End.

1 Baz must have been giving us a massive hint here in this column from September 11 because it's also got Rosamund, Keira, Carey Mulligan and Joe in it! He says Kim "the man eater" is hunting for new prey"...LOL!!! ..."Kim Cattrall’s on the hunt for a man. OK, this is not something new. Hi Kathy, I did think about the age difference, but hey look at Cattrell, she is fabulous looking! However I saw her in "My Boy Jack", a wonderful drama starring Daniel Radcliffe, and she was anything but glamorous in it but what a wonderful actress. I always think she is a cut above the SATC girls (acting-wise) and I wonder if she thinks that too! I think Matthew's clipped speech is perfect for a Coward piece, you only have to think of "a pleasant tripppp" to immediately envisage him in a Noel Coward production. |

1 Dawn, I haven't met Rosemary yet but I can't wait! The only meet up I have had so far is the one in LA which was a hoot! Kathy was a wonderful hostess on that trip and I am praying she makes it over to see Matthew! You will not be disappointed when you meet him, and how nice that your hubbie will be on hand to take a nice photo maybe!! No matter how sensible a person is, when you meet him in real life all commonsense seems to desert you, it is an effort not to appear completely insane in front of this man! What happens to the brain I do not know but someone should do a thesis on it! |
