"Mad Men": In "The Crash," Don and some of his colleagues get an injection of "energy serum" from Dr.

Earlier this week I joked that, after Sunday's episode of Mad Men , I wouldn't be surprised if John Slattery was picked to make his feature directing debut with Fifty Shades of Grey .

We've got a couple of quick casting stories for you this afternoon. First up Samuel L. Jackson is set to star opposite Hailee Steinfeld in the indie, Barely Lethal .

Sunday night's "Mad Men" episode -- directed by John Slattery, who plays Roger Sterling -- was titled "Man With a Plan." But, as you'd expect, events small and large conspired to demonstrate that, to paraphrase Robert Burns, the best-laid plans of ad men and women have a way of fizzling out.

Merging isn't without its problems on Mad Men . "Man With a Plan" focuses on the currently nameless agency, along with all the trouble it creates.

Don Draper's devolution into being completely unlikable is nearing completion. He's been the perpetrator of selfish office politics, continued his adulterous streak, and now he veered into some really cringe-worthy sadomasochistic stuff with Sylvia.
