Five ways to celebrate International Jazz Day
On Thursday, April 25, Jazz FM presented Jazz Lives a marathon concert at Koerner Hall highlighting the world's best talents in the genre including guitar legend Pat Metheny, trumpet virtuoso Terence Blanchard and Bill McBirnie, who suddenly made the Jazz flute the world's coolest instrument.
The show, which starts at 7.30pm, promises a host of classic big band/swing songs from the 1940's, performed by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the Five Star Swing Band.
