YOU could have taken out the Australian music industry at Hall and Oates' concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre last night.

They are the most successful duo in music history who do solo careers while maintaining a partnership in its 42nd year.

John Oates is known for his finely-crafted chart-toppers with Philly soul duo Hall & Oates, but he spent all of last week in a much different capacity on Jam Cruise as one of the ship's honored Artists at Large.

The music game genre has pretty much busted, but Harmonix still adds to the list of available tracks to download for its Rock Band franchise on a regular basis.

Three big hits from the early 1980s by Hall & Oates will be made available for purchase for the Rock Band video game starting on Tuesday.
