Bajofondo : Often compared to Gotan Project, their earlier music had blended acoustic tango and electronic music, part of an evolving tango genre which is known as "Electrotango", which brought tango back into the mainstream.

Gotan Project has always lived just outside of the DJ/electronic world and not quite in the jazz/world music space either.

The last time we saw one of Gustavo Santaolalla's projects in London was his Bajafondo Tango Club, the band who, along with the Gotan Project, made electronic tango fusion music a common soundtrack in fashionable boutiques globally.
