The siren wails of ascending notes, the speedy electro hammering of programmed drums and a fat and sinister guitar riff open Blackheart Revolution .

They bill themselves as "The world's sexiest band" -- honestly, though, does Rush know about this? Indeed, the Genitorturers are never lacking in salaciousness, with a dominatrix frontwoman known for piercing herself onstage and bawdy concerts seemingly tailored for late-night Cinemax.

So I'm leaving the Genitorturers show at Firestone Live last Saturday to head back to Will's Pub to catch 1991 close out the Post Records showcase when I roll up on this bad boy on Orange Ave... I'm not sayin' it is or it's not.

For your listening pleasure, the soundtrack aboard Carnival Destiny next May will be industrial-metal rock.
