Next Friday Minneapolis punk band Banner Pilot will be playing the Funhouse with Broadway Calls, the Hollowpoints, and Smokejumper.

Established sometime around 1989, seminal SoCal punk band Lagwagon was one of the first to have an album released by independent label Fat Wreck Chords .

"We're all pretty mellow dudes," says Fat Mike . "We've never had an argument and we take our success with a grain of salt.

Much like the group that Banner Pilot's bassist Nate Gangelhoff sometimes dabbles in, Off With Their Heads, these punk rockers have managed to stay just under the radar locally while earning enough of a following nationally to successfully tour the festival and club circuits.

Goleta, California's Lagwagon first burst on the scene way back in 1988 playing a unique brand of speedy, highly technical pop-punk that made them one of the most influential punk bands of the 90's.
