Stacy Erin Paydo is coming home in a big way. As a member of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, she will be returning to the Valley for four shows Dec.

Televised talent shows have come a long way since the 1980s and '90s staple "Star Search." Shows like "America's Got Talent," "American Idol" and "Last Comic Standing" have dialed up the excitement, raised the stakes, scaled back on the cheese and hired some younger hosts than senior Ed McMahon, who hosted "Star Search" from 1983 to 1995.
