STOURBRIDGE opera buffs have been saddened by the death of internationally acclaimed singer Lyndsie Holland at the age of 79. She spent seven years as principal contralto with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company having made her debut for Sadler's Wells Opera two years earlier.
