We want to like this movie, "Cosmopolis." David Cronenberg fills his movies with concepts and ideas, then turns them into something stupendous and horrible.

About halfway through David Cronenberg's icy if nonetheless mesmerizing film "Cosmopolis," based on Don DeLillo's novel, a character who deals in money theory tells her boss, a 28-year-old billionaire played impeccably by Robert Pattinson, that "all wealth has become wealth for its own sake." What a fascinating, disturbing yet wildly funny line.
