Even though the network previewed the first episode of the nine-part miniseries not so long ago, there should still be plenty of eyeballs as it officially arrives tonight, if only because of the pedigree.

It is certainly a big weekend. There are always lots of stuff to do for New Year's parties, football, getting started on those resolutions but it is not typically a big weekend for new movies opening in theatres.
