The opening act, Loaded, has earned itself a couple more fans and filled seats with the Guns N' Roses cover "So Fine". And Duff McKagan's expressed love for Vancouver punk bands DOA and the Subhumans also garnered more than a few cheers from the rain-city crowd.

There have been literally hundreds of groups and solo artists over the years who have been described as having a "cult following" such as Captain Beefheart, Nick Drake , Eric Dolphy , The Incredible String Band, The Residents.the list could go on forever.

After the metal machine clang of Second Annual Report , and the dissolute extremities of D.O.A. , Throbbing Gristle presented the world with their third and final album 20 Jazz Funk Greats .
