Each week, as I attempt the thorny task of choosing upcoming jazz events to write about, I'm mindful of how much live music happens in the Twin Cities.

Manhattan Transfer is celebrating its 40th year with a vocal tribute to a jazz fusion pioneer, keyboardist Chick Corea.
