After 21 years and one of the biggest TV cliff-hangers of all time, Dallas returns to TV this June on TNT.

Jokes about showers, shootings and senior citizenship set the tone for a lighthearted, nostalgia-heavyA Dallas panel Sunday at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.

"If you said there were twenty years in between, I wouldn't have believed that. Because to walk back onto set, and back onto Southfork, and back with my friends was a seamless transition," Dallas series star Linda Gray shared during TNT's TCA presentation in Los Angeles today.

At the moment, TV comedy has rebounded after about a decade in the wilderness, thanks to the creative success of "Modern Family" and "The Middle" and the ratings triumph of this season's "New Girl" and "2 Broke Girls." Now another genre is poised for a comeback.
