Bad boy radio personality Artie Lange was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant and with careless driving today after police responded to a minor traffic accident.

TOMS RIVER: The Ocean County Library is hosting Artie Lange - comedian, actor and cast member of "The Howard Stern Show" - at 7 p.m. Saturday, library staff said.

Before he broke into show business, Artie Lange once worked as a cab driver in New Jersey.

Even though he was filming for his new DVD Thursday night, comedian Artie Lange took a few moments to chat with the Times Herald-Record. Lange, who starred on "Mad TV" and in several movies before taking a seat on "The Howard Stern Show" on Sirius XM Radio, is performing Friday night at the Manhattan Comedy Club in the Town of Wallkill.

Just as sports debates are highly subjective, so is humor. Yesterday, a reader wondered who the Top 10 comedy figures might be over the last 20 years.

Lange's unhealthy behavior and deranged stories are the subject of his own recently released book Too Fat To Fish.
