Based on the true story of the LGSM, a group of gay and lesbian activists who raised money to help families and communities affected by the UK miners' strike of 1984, Pride looks set to be the top gay film of the decade. Funny and heartwarming in equal measures, it features superb writing and direction, a stellar cast, and has seen input from surviving members of the LGSM along the way.
