Royalton Players premiere 'Wait Until Dark'
The area premiere of the suspense thriller "Wait Until Dark" opens Nov. 6 for a two-weekend run at the Royalton Players.

Discussing his performance in the movie Wait Until Dark , Alan Arkin said: "I terrorized Audrey Hepburn in that film and have since appeared in a series of heartwarming PBS films to make up for it." The character Arkin played, Harry Roat Jr., is a pretty vile creature.
Sprechers can't say no to 'The Convincer'
Indie filmmakers Jill and Karen Sprecher have signed for their first movie in nearly a decade, the Midwest-set drama "The Convincer." Minnesota-based producer-financier Werc Werk Works will produce, while Jill Sprecher will direct from a script the sisters wrote.
From the producers of Little Miss Sunshine ,comes a film that is very similar. Besides the word "Sunshine," the films share plots dealing with down-on-their-luck, dysfunctional families including precocious children and a foul-mouthed grandfather played by Alan Arkin.
