Filmmaker Thunder Levin dropped a line alerting me that The Asylum has unveiled the trailer for his Costa Rican-lensed science fiction action thriller AE: Apocalypse Earth starring TV "Highlander" Adrian Paul and former teen heartthrob Richard Grieco.

The clip is about a minute long and primarily focused on action. "AE" is written and directed by Thunder Levin who wrote directed "American Warships" on the U.S.S. North Carolina in December 2011.

Go to Coast Con 36 in Biloxi, of course. The Coast's premier sci-fi and fantasy convention will return this weekend with the theme Surviving the Apocalypse.
