Assassin's Creed Unity is probably one of the biggest projects Ubisoft's ever taken on. Set in Paris, France, the game takes place during the French Revolution which pits you, the player playing as Arno Dorian , against the true powers behind the uprising.

Flavia spreads Strictly Come Dancing magic to care home

Kathleen White put on a show for ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Flavia as she visited an East Horsley care home A dancing competition finalist received a masterclass from professional dancer and Strictly Come Dancing winner Flavia Cacace-Mistry ahead of her next round in October. Kathleen White and her dance partner Barbara Smith won the first round of the competition at the Limegrove care home in East Horsley, and will now go on to a regional competition run by Anchor care homes.

Far Cry 4 video stars 'the Mighty Elephants of Kryat'

Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 4 video spoofing a nature documentary looking at the elephants in the game. Elephants will play a prominent role in Far Cry 4 as both modes of transport and deadly weapons, as this two-minute gameplay trailer shows: The Far Cry 4 release date is set for November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe on consoles and PC.

Music mogul Cowell also revealed that he's planning to bring back a celebrity version of the ITV music show Simon Cowell has insisted The X Factor can "turn it around" and will beat Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings battle. Destiny claims biggest launch ever for new IP in UK history

Destiny sold more at launch in the UK than any other new intellectual property in gaming history, following Activision's claim it shipped $500 million worldwide last week. Bungie's shooter is the second game to break the new-IP record this year, the first being Watch Dogs in May. The most successful UK launch of any game ever still belongs to Grand Theft Auto 5 , but Destiny now boasts the biggest launch of 2014.
