'Guardian Cross' version 3.0 is live

Earlier today Square Enix released a patch for "Guardian Cross" that pushes its version up to 3.0. With the patch comes a host of new features including a new hunting ground, new coliseum, and even new friend point system. New to "Guardian Cross" version 3.0 is a brand new coliseum known as the Skyborne Coliseum.

Dragon Quest Gone Mobile, Screens Released

Unveiling these screenshots , Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest , a classic retro title that pioneered the development of the RPG genre, is out now on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices. Dragon Quest players will begin their voyage as the "Hero", a descendent of the valiant hero Erdrick.

Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn are officially joining in on the upcoming Final Fantasy music-based spin off sequel as announced some time ago by Square Enix. For those not quite familiar with the stylings of the music tracks featured in the online FF titles the company released a new trailer which may be worth a look and listen for those interested.

Play Final Fantasy 13, Murdered on mobile in Japan

Square Enix is launching a service in Japan through the app Dive In that enables games such as Final Fantasy 13 and Murdered: Soul Suspect to run on iOS and Android mobile devices. The streaming service launches on October 9, and it will initially support Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 7 International and Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders .

Square Enix is temporarily suspending shipments of Dragon Quest X for 3DS in Japan because of server issues, the publisher announced on its blog . Dragon Quest X released one week ago , and since then, a large influx of players has prevented many newcomers from logging into the Dragon Quest X servers.

Xbox One games debut on Japanese chart

Excluding copies sold in hardware bundles, Titanfall entered the chart at No.7, Dead Rising 3 at No.10 and Forza Motorsport 5 at No.12. The week's highest new entry was the 3DS version of Dragon Quest X, which debuted at No.2, according to data from retail monitor Media Create, which was republished on NeoGAF .

Xbox One sold 23,562 units during its Japanese launch week, less than half the amount sold by Xbox 360. Microsoft's new machine had four days to reach that total, Famitsu reported.

Square Enix is set to launch a new streaming service in Japan that'll enable you to play a range of its titles on your smartphone or tablet. According to a report by Gematsu , the Dive In service launches on October 9th, with titles like Final Fantasy XIII , Final Fantasy VII, and Season Of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders set to be available for both iOS and Android on that date.
