Foo Fighters' city-inspired album

Foo Fighters' bassist Nate Mendel has revealed the group took inspiration from various studios they worked in while recording their new album 'Sonic Highways'. The band's bassist, Nate Mendel , has revealed that the group's new record, 'Sonic Highways', was influenced by the eight different US-based studios they worked in, including California, Washington and New Orleans, all of which played a part in inspiring them to create a different sound.

New Guardians, Winter Solider Characters to Join Disney Infinity

After mounting pre-order sales for Disney Infinity 2.0, another Guardians of the Galaxy character is being added to the roster, along with a hero from Sony's Captain America: Winter Soldier. The first character, Yondu, is a mercenary from the recent Guardians, in which he's played by Michael Rooker.

Morning business news - September 11

Walsh Whiskey is today turning the sod on the site of what will be the biggest independent whiskey distillery in the country. The 25m distillery will be built on a 40 acre site at Royal Oak in Co Carlow on the grounds of Holloden House, an 18th century country home that will be restored as part of the project.
