Ridge Racer going F2P [Ridge Racer Driftopia]

This isn't exactly something that I ever expected to hear: Namco Bandai is taking the Ridge Racer franchise free-to-play. The long-running series' next installment will be available at no charge on both the PC and the PlayStation 3 later this year with Ridge Racer Driftopia .
