More evidence of who pulls the puppets strings.

Support smaller business,anti-trust and the seperation of Corporation and State.

The only reason the exemption was blocked is because of undue influence of Corporate special interests.

Actually, it is an anti-NAZI sentiment.

In that sense, that our US GI's were allies of the USSR in WWII; even Charles Lindbergh is a 'lefty' to silly geese like you.

Former Surgeon General Says Politics Took Priority /
Bush More Corrupt Than Nixon:
July 12, 2007 http://tinyurl.com/2uyndl
Richard H. Carmona told a House hearing Tuesday that he believed his task as surgeon general from 2002 to 2006 was to improve "health literacy" using the best medical and scientific data he could collect. But top Bush administration officials, Carmona testified, had other ideas. The following are excerpts from testimony by Carmona -- a former Army Special Forces medic, hospital chief executive and university professor -- before the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform:

"The vetting was done by political appointees who were specifically there to be able to spin, if you will, my words in such a way that would be preferable to a political or an ideologically preconceived notion that had nothing to do with science....

FEMA official: Fake news conference conflicts with core values
December 12th, 2007 http://tinyurl.com/2dwl8y
A top Federal Emergency Management Agency official who has been criticized for leading a fake news conference at the agency in October told a panel of senators he did not know the event was staged.
Vice Adm. Harvey Johnson, who has served as acting deputy administrator at FEMA since leaving the Coast Guard in April 2006, testified that although five of the six questions asked during the briefing were from members of his staff, it was not until he received an e-mail from a reporter two days later that he realized the Oct. 23 event was a set-up. http://federaltimes.com/index.php...

Leader of Al Qaeda group in Iraq was fictional, U.S. military says
http://tinyurl.com/2a2zce July 18, 2007
BAGHDAD: For more than a year, the leader of one the most notorious insurgent groups in Iraq was said to be a mysterious Iraqi named Abdullah Rashid al-Baghdadi.
As the titular head of the Islamic State in Iraq, an organization publicly backed by Al Qaeda, Baghdadi issued a steady stream of incendiary pronouncements. Despite claims by Iraqi officials that he had been killed in May, Baghdadi appeared to have persevered unscathed.
On Wednesday, a senior American military spokesman provided a new explanation for Baghdadi's ability to escape attack: He never existed.

His name is lefty, MrBill.
I do not advocate or ridicule by political party, they both are wrong.
Lindbergh fought hard against the Christmas Massacre that brought about this federal reserve, as a conservative.

There is no real difference between centralized corporate control or centralized Govt. control as far as the stagnation that both bring to an economy. An entrenched system that has effectively limited competition will have the same results either way.

Both stifle competition and the constant upwelling of competition necessary for a healthy vibrant economy.

I read the term on Topix by another poster and liked it because I believe that Corporations have more influence over legislation than citizens of this country and write their own rules which tread upon our abilities to compete and pull ourselves up by our bootstraps.

They have bought the ladder and removed several of the rungs. I am a successfull small businessman and a firm believer in capitalism and self motivation but I have hit a ceiling because I can't participate in an open marketplace because of what I consider monopolistic practices.
I have a profitable niche that can feed me forever but we are smart enough to grow and compete if a level playing field existed.

The big boys come in and you sell or go broke, period.

I agree with your position on the macro-political world.

The fact is the wall streeters can not compete on a level playing field.
If they could not control government then they would reduce to the 20% range of national employement again.
Cost of labor could rise on the bottom and people like ourselves could keep on trucking without feeling a thing except growth.
In 1941 the income ratio between labor and owner was 40-1
In 2007 the income ration was 425-1

Do you make $425 for every dollar the employee makes ?

For you to get 7-1 is doing well, depending on your labors skill. Somebody is getting 3000-1 to make those numbers work.

The monopolies and oligarchies do not achieve because of rising above the competition, yet for buying them.
