You're right about the part of most not reading the bill. That is why we have elected officials. They are supposed to be helping people understand the current adjenda and explain what they think is the correct path. It is disgusting that our system has gone so far off kilter that it is now nothing but spewing Socialist lies.

For that matter, Deomcratic Congress has stopped reading the bills too...they just trust Obama and vote "yes". Even worse, they stopped writing them as well. They are now being written by leftist special interest groups. Don't believe me? Watch some Glen Beck, you might be shocked by the truth.

ON THE TABLE NOW...Bill giving Obama total control to shut down the internet in the US if he deems it an "emergency situation".

Also, he just announced he is creating a "civilian police force EQUAL TO THAT OF OUR MILITARY to combat issues of homeland security". Hmmm..who would that be? YOU!! He is planning to disarm legal citizens and he knows that he needs military strength within the US to do it.(Please put the first and second plans together, they go hand-in-hand)

This is so far out in RIGHT field it just does not deserve a reply. We already have a national police force and they are called the National Guard and if you remember they were used against the coal mines.

There is supposed to be one in Mullens at the MOC and Beckley.I think it was in the Register-Herald.

Beckley, WV (HNN)– Demonstrating his openness to input from his Southern West Virginia constituents, Rep. Nick J. Rahall (D-WV) has four town hall meetings next week, including on Monday, August 31 at 1 p.m. on the Marshall University campus.

The Monday Town Hall will take place in the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center on Fifth Avenue in Huntington.

Although the event is free to the public, the limited theatre seating capacity means that a ticket will be necessary. They will be made available on a first come/first serve basis. There’s a two ticket per person limit.

Tickets will be available at the Marshall University Box Office from 9:00 a.m.-12 noon, August 31. Theatre doors open at 12:15 p.m.

Rahall will hold meetings Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the National Guard Armory/MEPS Center, Glen Jean, WV at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, Sept. 2 in the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Conference Center of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, WV at 2 p.m., and on Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Mullens Opportunity Center Outdoor Amphitheatre, 300 Front Street, Mullens, at 10 a.m.

These meetings will allow input on President Obama’s proposed universal health care program which is a bill containing over 1,000 pages. Although West Virginia has a significant number of low income residents relying on Medicaid, Medicare or no insurance, the Obama bill has drawn worries about socialized medicine, not being able to choose your doctor, and long waits in exchange for universal coverage removing the pre-existing condition stigma.

The administration maintains that if you like what you have, you can keep it.

Obama put Mark Lloyd in charge of the FCC so that he can start closing dowm free speech.

Put all of these things together:
1. Communist background of Obama
2. Communist backgrounds of Mark Lloyd and Van Jones (two of his top advisors)
3. Trying to limit free speech
4. Trying to control or take away guns
5. Wanting to set up a civilian security force equal to our military within this country. What happened to posse comitatus? Obama has openly admitted to wanting to set up this civilian security force.

We can either vote them out now or wait for things to get worse. By the way, people in California are crazy. Diane Watson (Democrat from there) was praising Fidel Castro the other day.

Wish those people who admire Chavez would move to Venezuela and those who admire Castro would move to Cuba. Maybe we'll get lucky and the people in California (isn't that Pelosi's state?) will just fall off into the ocean.

Saw and heard Obama on TV clip saying that. That is why I am against a civilian security force - because we already have the National Guard and posse comitatus would be violated by a civilian security force. That kind of talk reminds me of Hitler's little snitches.

Please be careful with the TV clips because they are most often taken out of context and made to say what someone wants you to believe. The comments by the far left and right are things that will never happen because the people of this country will not allow them to be voted on. Comments about Hitler are just uncalled for and only drive a wedge between people who are attempting to come up with a plan for everyone. I don't like the plans from the extremes because what is good for us all is normally somewhere in the middle.

I also think the political position of NO will not work to our advantage because we are then forcing the left to do whatever they want with no input from the right. I will watch the video.

I guess I'm not the only one disgruntled here. So, why did he announce that he wants a private police force if it is "so far off"? It's really not that far off if he is begining to test the waters. Look at how long he has been in office and how many things he has gotten away with already. And yes, Obama has surrounded himself with these extremists (commies, facists and socialists) uses them as his advisors, and admits to it! It is all spinning out of control.

I never dreamed that someone would be elected President that has so little reguard for the Constitution and all it stands for.

Obama did say this about a "security force" being funded as well as the military.. that part is a FACT!

Of corse you're a racist! We all are, according to the SPLC. I am a Catholic and we are a "hate group", did you know that! So is the American Legion. Apparently a bunch of old men are conspiring to storm the White House.

We apparent racists are the ones the "civil police" are getting together to control. That is likely because many military personnel are, and have stated, that they will not take arms against US citizens that they fight & die to protect. The new "police" will be selected for their willingness to do so. That is also why Pelosi put combat vets on their watch list of possible domestic terrorists.
