I read with great interest the recent letter to the editor written by Wayne Semprini, who was attempting to blame Carol Shea-Porter for the actions of folks wearing waffle hats at a Jeb Bradley town hall meeting in Rye in 2005.

While saying he might have been unclear with some of his recollections, the former chairman of the state Republican Party said he will not retract allegations that before being elected to Congress, Carol Shea-Porter was disruptive at a 2005 town hall meeting in Rye.
