On September 3 under the headline 'Man kept dogs to fight wild animals', an article based on an official RSPCA press release stated that animal cruelty defendant Charles Ross Clark lived at Gorad Road, Valley. This is where Clark's offences took place, but the RSPCA have since informed us that he later moved to Cambria Street, Holyhead.

The so-called British Invasion didn't take over the U.S. pop music scene until early 1964, but not surprisingly, many of the recording artists that gained instant fame in America had already launched successful careers in the UK. AN administration assistant who embezzled more than A 5,000 from her unsuspecting employers has narrowly escaped going to jail. 33-year-old Swift, of Walby Close, Woodchurch, had pleaded guilty to three thefts from her then employers, family owned Liverpool building contractors WH Snow Ltd. The judge, Recorder Richard Pratt, QC, said it was "an outrageous breach of trust" but said he accepted she had committed the offences while in debt to pay off household bills.

The man aged in his twenties is in hospital with life threatening injuries after being found near the Rainbow Bridge, Old Colwyn, Police were called to the scene where a man was seriously injured near the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday at 5.55am. A North Wales Police spokesman said: "Inquiries are still continuing into the circumstances of the incident however it is not believed to be suspicious at this time."
