TV presenter sings praises of 'extraordinary' Norfolk Church

One of Norfolk's finest churches - St Nicholas Chapel at King's Lynn - was yesterday praised as a "wonderful lesson in history." Loyd Grossman, chairman of the Churches Conservation Trust and TV presenter, visited St Nicholas to present the Friends of St Nicholas Chapel with a certificate to honour its trustees as part of a tour of East Anglia.

Maintenance delays contributed to King's Lynn to London rail accident

Delays in Network Rail's maintenance programme were to blame for an accident in which part of a King's Lynn to London train travelling at 80mph came off, shattering windows and injuring a passenger.

These are at Hunstanton Community Centre from 9-11am, at Downham Market Leisure Centre from noon-2pm and at King's Lynn Town Hall from 3-5pm. Scans for risk of future fracture in postmenopausal women are not always readily available on the NHS but you can now have a non-invasive scan for A 22.
