The future political shape of Argyll and Bute Council remains uncertain ahead of a meeting of all 36 members of the authority later this week.

THE suspension of the 11-strong SNP group on Argyll and Bute Council has been lifted by the party, but the group leader has stood down following a row over a new coalition.

In a letter to Argyll and Bute Council planning officer Brian Close, Stephen Waters from VG Energy, agents for the applicant, David Mundell, advises: "The proposal is to be re-assessed and [the] council's advice will be sought for any potential future application."
