Deeside incinerator campaigners demand judicial review
Campaigners against plans to build an incinerator in Deeside are calling for a judicial review into how Flintshire County Council dealt with the process, amid claims the incinerator could actually cause the county to recycle less of its waste.
Ewloe care home to close after inspections
Aston Hall Care Home in Ewloe has been owned and run by husband and wife team Peter and Lucy Sargent for 30 years, but will close on September 18. The Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales escalated enforcement action against the home earlier this month having issued two non-compliance notices following inspections in May and June.
