The incident took place on Saturday 21 January in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, as a 50-year-old man used a cash machine to take money out at 7.30pm. The two men struggled and the victim shouted for help, at which point the offender fled the scene down an alley way.

Hertsmere council's annual budget passed by committeesUpdated 1:31pm...

At a joint meeting of the Overview and Performance and Scrutiny Committees at the Civic Offices, in Borehamwood, councillors passed the proposed budget for 2012/2013. The budget will now go on to the council Executive on February 8 for recommendation to Council, after which it will then be put before Full Council on February 22 for approval.
