Disabled teen's special wheelchair still not fixed... 12 weeks after it was first sent away

Nikita Greedy, 13, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has made strides since she started at St Illtyd's Catholic High School, in Rumney, Cardiff Mum, Jennifer Greedy with daughter Nikita, who goes to St Illtyds catholic school, Cardiff. Nikita has cerebral palsy, and has a specialised chair at school which needs to be repaired and they have been waiting over 12 weeks for it to be done.

Man, 45, dies after collision with Audi A3 in Pontypridd

A 45-year-old man has died after colliding with a car outside the Morning Star Hotel in Llantrisant Road, Pontypridd. The collision involved a Blue Audi A3 car and the pedestrian, who was taken to University Hospital Wales in Cardiff, where he died from his injuries.

Police commendations evening recognises more than 60 people

Cardiff community joins together to transform graffiti-ridden wall into stunning mural

Mark Alexander, Bill Taylor-Beales, Luke Rice, Sam Worthington, Helen Bur and Dan Green at the mural in Cranbrook Street, Cathays, Cardiff A gigantic mural now covers what was an "ugly, graffiti-ridden wall" thanks to a transformational art project which came to fruition over the weekend. Residents, artists and councillors joined together for around eight hours a day - from Friday to Sunday - to paint the mural on a 101-metre high wall on Cranbrook Street in Cathays, Cardiff.

Tackling one 52-mile cycling challenge wasn't enough for a team of dedicated fundraisers who decided to complete it twice in memory of a toddler who died of a rare genetic condition. His dad Andrew Evans, from Pontprennau, Cardiff, and his Oscar's Army team cycled from Cardiff to Brecon last Saturday before getting on their bikes again to tackle Ty Hafan's popular Taff Trail cycling challenge which finished in Bute Park, Cardiff.

Drug-dealing gang brought A 120,000 of cannabis to Cardiff from Bristol

Pupils seize once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at Disneyland Paris

Musically talented pupils have received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at Disneyland Paris after winning a worldwide competition. Aged between six and 11, the youngsters from both Stagecoach Theatre Arts Pontypridd and the Valleys Junior Choir wowed judges at the competition with their combination of Disney classics, modern ballads and pop songs.
