Exhibitors laud Ghana Export Promotion Authority

Some Ghanaian exhibitors have given the Ghana Export Promotion Authority thumbs up for a smooth organisation as the curtains draw on the 18th China International Investment and Trade Fair in Xiamen in the Fujian Province. The exhibitors told the Ghana News Agency that patronage was good and they had been able to establish contacts with some Chinese investors interested in distributing their products.

4 Chinese arrested in Philippine drug bust

Philippine authorities arrested four Chinese on Friday and seized hundreds of kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and drug ingredients in what could be the year's biggest drug bust. Three men from China's Xiamen city and a woman from Fujian province were arrested in raids on a rented warehouse and a house in northern San Fernando City.

Ghana needs smart partnership to spur dev't

A Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, has called on Chinese investors to take advantage of the many investment incentives to participate in the emerging business opportunities in Ghana. Speaking at an investment forum on the sidelines of the 18th China International Investment and Trade Fair , Mr Mohammed said Ghana needed smart partnerships and cooperation to spur its current development agenda.

Tanzania: Chinese Caustic Soda Firm Eyes Investment in Dar

CHINESE Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical, a caustic soda chemical company, wants to invest in the country after exporting the product for the past six years through third parties. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed company said at the moment it exports over 20,000 metric tonnes of caustic soda and PVC material per year to Tanzania.
