A Hollywood star will shine in Hot Springs this coming March. The entire city will be on Double-Secret Probation on March 17th when Delta House Romeo Eric Stratton defies Dean Vernon Wormer once again and leads a parade through downtown.

Some local riders are glad to hear we'll get a break from the rain this weekend because they'll be saddling up to help military veterans, and they're bringing in some help from Hollywood! The Charity Ride for Vets horse show will be held this weekend at the Harry Hughes Youth Equestrian Center just outside Swanton.

Sportscaster Frank Gifford is 81. Singer Eydie Gorme is 80. Actress Julie Newmar is 78.
