Mickey One: smoke and flame at Marina City

Still a few films slipped by, most prominently Haskell Wexler's extraordinary Medium Cool , filmed in the city during the tumultuous 1968 Democratic convention A far lesser known exception is 1965's Mickey One , starring a very young Warren Beatty as a mediocre comic, on the run from Detroit mobsters, hiding out in Chicago.

The Untouchables: Season 3, Vol. 1 - DVD

Okay, fellow old-fashioned TV-on-DVD aficionados. Is it just me, or does this splitting of TV seasons for DVD releases of some shows bug the crap out of you? I guess it's not that big a deal, but I simply don't understand why Paramount continues to splinter season-by-season releases of certain shows.

Dear Mr. Gacy

I went through a real serial-killer kick several years ago. Fascinated by the subject and the fact that these monsters had almost celebrity-like status, I read up on a ton of these bad boys and predominantly focussed on the more 'popular' killers.
