Smallville Fan Columnist, Trish Neale is bringing you her recap of Friday's Smallville.

Smallville is now in its ninth season, and if there is one thing I have learned from another show that made it to its ninth season, The X-Files , it's not to rely too much on continuity in the show's mythology.

If Smallville continues to produce episodes of good quality like tonight's, I may have to take back some of the things I've been saying about it.

Tonight we get an Oliver-centric episode that finally resolves his issues. Good! Now we can get to the more interesting dramas of the series such as that with Major Zod and his time-traveling Kryptonian army.
