CBS owned Friday night with the season premieres of female-targeted Ghost Whisperer and Medium , which the network picked up when NBC axed the Patricia Arquette drama.
" Medium " is back on a brand new channel and at the Friday death slot, 9 PM. The excitement about its renewal is lessened somewhat by the fact Friday is a horrible time for the show, and it's certainly a jump down from Monday, but it's alive and that is what matters.
