a Star Trek 2a 2: Casting Khana why couldna t it be a woman?

Oh, how the internets loves its casting rumors. Today, the nugget that caught my eye came from comingsoon.net , who not only floated the idea of Khan Noonien Singh being the villain in the next Star Trek flick, but that - "if they started filming today" - Lost 's Nestor Carbonell would be the deep-sleeping warlord who harries Kirk and Co.

"General Hospital" bad guy Sebastian Roche will be doing evil in primetime on "Fringe." Roche, who's played Jerry Jacks on the ABC soap for the past couple years, has taken a recurring part on the FOX drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

FX picks up 'Terriers,' 'Lights Out'

FX is adding two more drama series to its lineup, a private-eye show called "Terriers" and a drama about a retired boxer called "Lights Out." The two pickups finish off a pretty remarkable development run for the cable channel: FX commissioned six pilots this year, and all six have now been ordered to series.
