As the intensely scrutinized first season of Katie Couric talker Katie wraps, stations are grading its performance-and wondering what the future holds for Katie , and for them.

Not only did his new show, "The Steve Harvey Show," top all other new programs among women 18-49 and 25-54 during the recently ended May sweeps, but his newfound visibility also helped boost the syndicated game show that he hosts, "Family Feud," to its best season in 22 years.

Syndies were slow in the week ended June 2 as they left sweeps, headed into Memorial Day and then settled into the slow summer months.

If any question remained as to who the reigning queen of daytime is, look no further.

Katie Couric and Steve Harvey were neck and neck at the end of the May sweep's third week, with Disney-ABC's Katie looking like it would secure the household win while NBCUniversal's Steve Harvey would clutch the demo victory.

Channel 9 Eyewitness News, Central Florida's News Leader, announced that Eyewitness News is adding a half hour newscast at 4 p.m., followed by the hit show Family Feud , starting June 10th, 2013.

Disney-ABC's Live! with Kelly and Michael was the only top-tier talk show to improve in the week ended May 12, which included the mid-point of the May sweep.
