NBC is looking to stock up on laffs, cutting deals for a half-hour comedy starring Adam Carolla, a laffer from "The Simpsons" alum Bill Oakley and a project from Don Cheadle and "Boondocks" creator Aaron McGruder.

Comedy Works South in The Landmark Village has announced the appearance of comedian Tracy Morgan for two nights and three shows only, Saturday October 17: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM and Sunday October 18: 7:00 PM.

Comedy Works has announced many stand up comedy shows for the rest of 2009. Tickets for Comedy Works are on-sale now at comedyworks.com , 720.274.6800, or in person at the Comedy Works South box office open 10 am - 6 pm Monday thru Friday.
