You might think 2003 Towson alumna Amy Schumer would have reached the top of her career after being the first female comedian on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Oct.

After a long week of work, the Laugh Your Asheville Off comedy team will serve up some laughter at 8 p.m. Friday from comic Lynne Koplitz at Diana Wortham Theatre at Pack Place on Pack Square.

Arj Barker, famous for acting in "Flight of the Conchords" and co-creating, writing and performing in "The Marijuana-logues," hadn't thought of becoming a comedian until he tried stand-up. "I tried it for fun, didn't really decide to become a comedian," said Barker, a Bay Area native.
