Big Brother 11 Houseguest *Chima Benson* was Final Victim of Bathtub Rapist

Now I feel bad for not liking her.The picture with the story is real pretty of her.On tv I didn't think she was all that pretty.So sad what happened!But on a positive note she's how they finally caught the creep.

I feel bad for chima. I do believe her past issues with rape caused her to behave the way she did. When big brother introduced the coup detat, they took all her powers away from her. This brought Chima to the edge, she felt powerless, similar to when she got rape. I also have issues with the coup detat because it gave Jeff unlimited power. I could understand him be given the power to just take one person off the block but two was just too much. I don’t think I have ever seen a power like voted by America in Big Brother’s History. To allow America to vote meant, chima and many other contestants never had a chance to win it. By allowing America to vote, and given the winner ultimate power truly changes the whole dynamic of the game. One minute Jessie and the people on his team were on top of things and after the coup detat every thing came crashing down. It wasn’t fair. It changed everything. I sympathize with Chima because when she got rape, she also lost all her control. Chima was unable to deal with the coup detat because not only was she made a fool of, but also now all her peer were vulnerable getting picked on one by one.. After that Chima couldn't take it anymore, I truly feel sorry for her and wish her the best.

Not similar, not even close.

As a male rape victim, I can assure you that the feeling of being powerless sucks... but that is a far cry from feeling like your power was usurped in a game. She was playing a game, she knew the rules, and the that twists would be used that would dramatically affect the game. That is all up-front.

Actually, that is incorrect. It has been given to another houseguest before in the same way. He (Mike "Boogie") decided to not use it because he didn't need to. So... All's fair.

That is just part of the game. Fair? A fair is a place where they put ribbons on pigs. This is a game. Again, they were ALL well aware that game changing twists WOULD be part of the game.

Should I even dignify the correlation of rape and losing HOH? Again... These are COMPLETELY different. One is a violent act against another human being manifesting as forced sexual submission. The other is a twist in a game.

Chima lost it because she was not in control of her emotions. I don't know what it would be like to be in that house. Must be mentally exhausting. She could not keep up and she lost it. For her: Game over. She is completely to blame. Not her past, not her parents, not her rapist. Just her.

Where is Chima now? I haven't heard anything about her since she was made to leave.

Sorry about Chima's past problems, but she was a monster and needed to be irradicated.

Chima is such a strong woman. I didn't care for her the show but i do have to hand it to her for speaking out about being her rape.
