Two Young Girls Struck By Pickup In Tulsa Wreck

I hope these girls are okay. They are probably our students from Clinton or Remington.

Why are they out walking around? Probably out to meet up with some thuggy punk boys!......But I do hope they are ok!

I know the 12 yr old goes to Clinton, she will be ok except for 2 broken legs ! The other girl is in critical condition, My prayers to her family.

Why were they out walking around...seriously, they are 14 years old. Im sure you were a perfect teenager, so congrats to you. Dont be so negative if you dont know the people, get a life.

if your going to report the news get it right. the girls were not crossing the road
they were walking down the middle of the road. and the city lights did not come on until after 9 o clock. and their were witeness.

Obviously, MizzyLizzy has never raised children. Kids will be kids, and it is NOT their responsibility to set the limitations. In this day and age, it is not safe for any age of child to be out, even in the light of day. Give the girls a break!! I am sure glad I wasn't judged as "looking for thug boys", when I was out with my teen friends.

As a grandmother of 13 now, I realize the importance of CONSTANT surveillance on all of our youth. They are the future of this country, and we must protect them.

Have they said who hit the girls?

I am personally a family friend to one of the girls. I cant believe people come on here just to write rude remarks. If you was at that hospital today and seen them after surgery you wouldnt be so judemental after seeing them in so much pain. I am praying for you girls.

this is taylor mother she is 12 years old she is a good child she makes straight a"s so befor you go and but my daughter down why dont you find out what happen frist you was not there the news needs to find out the truth befor they post something on air my daughter may not walk for a long time so think about that one .

I agree hope the girls will be okay. But the times we live in to dangerous for yong girls or boys or adults to be out on the streets!I guess the situation speaks for itself they got hit Ive raised 4 kids took them and friends whereever they wanted to go. Knew all tines where they were in activities just lost a friend that got hit by a truck walking down the road the person that hit him insurance wouldnt pay cause he was walking with traffic. People accidents happen but alot can be prevented!

grandmother of one of the girls listen people we're talking about 2 little girls that will be affected by this for the rest of their lives everyone just needs to back off.....and 2 those who truely care the one in critical condition is being moved to a regular room today so thank GOD they will both make it but no they will never be ok because like i said this will affect them for the rest of their lives

did u say u was the ones that hit them, read my comment it gives a little up date on the girls Taylor is my granddaughter by marriage but as much gtanddaughter as any of my other granddaughters

[The people whom are so judgemental about these girls. You should have all the facts. these girls live in my area, and are friends of my teen girl. They where not up to no good they are good kids. Maybe instead of the city being so cheap they could take this acident as a learning lesson and turn our street lights on so people can see and other parent dont fear this to happen again. We are praying for the girls and the people who hit them but mostly for the judgemental comments.

family will too.and i will be asking the city to put up street lights in that area. it is to dark in that area i can't beleave no one has complained before. so if anyone objectsto that. so sorry we need to

my grdaughter is taylor kemp yes maybe she was at a place where she should not of been and she is paying for it but things happen i just thank the good lord that my grandbaby is still with us so the people that has to be so rude and disrespectful stop and that could of been youre child sister grandchild and think how u would feel to read nasty coments about ur child it will be several months that taylor will walk so think about that when want to touch the keyboard again
