Way to go police!!! Not. You left the one who surrendered alone so he got away. But you'll risk innocent citizens safety by giving chase. Get their license plate and pick them up later, stop chasing people. Remember the innocent mother who was killed while you were chasing someone? Remember the teen a few years ago who was killed because you was chasing the drive at high speed. Only chase those who might have abducted a child or woman,,,, be smarter and safer. Don't chase teens who are just stupid or afraid or someone who has stolen something, find them later!

Great Job TPD. So Beauty and Figures, so you will let crime get away??? I hope that nothing happens to you because if they run away and police does not chase case, then crime does pay.

I would rather let petty crime get away than to have an innocent person get clobbered. There could have been people playing around those trees. Besides, had they kept the person that gave up TPD could have questioned him to find out who the ones that got away were.

The majority of the really heinous criminals such as child molesters and serial killers are white. So what is your point?

Ignorance and bigotry are good indicators of inbreeding.

To all of you who think the police shouldn't give chase.

How do you know the tags are going to lead back to the offenders? The car could of been stolen that evening and not reported yet. Could be they killed the owners of the car. How are the police to know?

We would have more deaths on our hands from the violent offenders who would be free that are otherwise locked up because they were caught in a chase.

Add to that the crime would be more rampant because they would know the police don't give chase.

You all want to blame someone other than the ones responsible. It is the law breakers who were committing a crime before the chase and then tacking on more crime by running from the police.

The criminals are the ones responsible for the deaths, not the police.

why did the police leave the one that turned himself in alone? What were they thinking? for crying out loud. Now he's gonna get some of his homeboys together and go rob some more people. Good job TPD

That is about right...It was SOOOOO important that they chase the suspects that they forgot about the person who surrendered so they could make sure to make the other suspects SUBMIT. Thank the Lord no innocent people were hurt from Tulsa's horrible chase policy that they DON'T follow. Watch out citizens of Tulsa your Civil Right to go down the streets safely may be in danger because a Cop got in fight with their wife today and no one holds them accountable to follow chase procedures.

No one knows why people with minor infractions run from police, but you would think police would be professional enough to not chase those with minor infractions when the result is major wrecks. What's that college degree for, anyway?

Did anyone else see that dirty pig punch the suspect? He pulled the guy out of the port-o-john, flung him to the ground, THEN PUNCHED HIM while the dog was chewing on the kid's leg. IS THAT THE REASON THE SUSPECT HAS A BUSTED LIP?

Still not worth risking innocent lives starting a high speed chase for a petty crime and then not smart enough to grab the one that got out of the car. TPD looks to do what ever they want. Maybe they just aren't smart enough to understand that are putting the public at risk! Even if they kill someone they won't stop because they are the TPD and are above the law that the rest of us are held accountable for!

I say fire the all them and return to marshall law!

Mickey --- you miss the point. Check out the facts, police don't always have to give chase to find the criminals, it's not worth the damage and human life. Why don't you say this to the innocent mother who was taken away from her child because police were chasing after someone at a high speed and the police hit her and killed her or to the teenager (who had no record and committed no crime) but was with the wrong kid who had an outstanding traffic ticket and the police chased them to another county but they knew who the kid was and where he lived and his car and license plate... another life. This is only a few I'm mentioning. I'm not talking about letting them off, if the TPD is go good they can track them down later on or the next day at their house. These petty criminals aren't going anywhere. I'm not talking about not chasing suspected killer or kidnappers or rapist.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Aries

There is minor evil around today, whether it is harsh words or actions. Relationships with non spiritual people will tend to be abrasive, as you come to understand that such people can never be trusted, for their agenda is not love. Beware of criticism from colleagues or friends. Avoid being narrow minded and confining your views to the conventional. You may want to argue with everyone and everything, but beware of devouring your own energy in the process.
