Man Shot And Killed Near Tulsa Soccer Fields

Tulsa and there crimes I pray for the victims family

I am a refferee at Tulsa United Soccer Fields. I was in the soccer field parking lot waiting to reff my game when i saw and heard this. I heard that two people were shot. One was killed instantly but the other one was rushed to the hopital. It looked as if the three cars had pinned the the other car in with no where for it to go and the people in the car that were pinned in were forced to run causing them to get shot. I dont know for shure but by the way the cars were facing, thats how it looked to me.

I am the victims ex wife.. Did you report what you seen to the police??

Yes, it was unrelated. Sometimes when your upset it's not that your blind it's just hard to take it all in. I hope the people who are responsible will be caught quickly.

I'm with Marlo, a little confused. SO, we have a guy "Anonymous" stating that he saw this happen as he was waiting to ref a soccer game. What time was the game you were there for going to start? The "passerby" saw the body at 5am. If "Anonymous" saw it happen, why was the body still there? It would have been found when the crim that "Anonymous" supposedly saw called it in. Right? The story KOTV submitted does not go with "Anonymous's" story unless he was there to ref a game shortly before 5am...which I see to be highly unlikely.

To me, it sounds like "Anonymous" saw/heard this happen last night while waiting to ref a game and did not call it in. BUT, didn't anyone else see it while attending a soccer game? So, if the body sat there all night...and somebody, say somebody such as "Anonymous" DID see/hear it and didn't call it in, isn't that a crime in itself, not reporting a murder?

OK, just had to get my thoughts off my chest...I'll leave it to the police. LOL

wow, so little thought about life... family feelings etc... and they cut our police force when other departments should have been cut first... what a shame that we are not safe in our homes or when we leave our homes!!!!

What is the article trying to imply by pointing out that Mr Jackson "was known to frequent the apartment complex"? Is there a stigma to being in that area? Did he reside in the complex? The only thing I'm aware of in that aera is that english is a 2nd language. The crimes are on the increase as our police man-power scales back, if not already one must arm themselves.

The area is known for gang violence and drugs. It has been for years.
