Warnings issued about alleged Bangkok airport scam

This is the for Thais to have their final suck for turist money before Thais let them go home.

Those Aussies should spend all their money on Thai lady boy.

There goes all their beer money.

What a bunch of bullshit, to allow this to go on at such a beautiful and new airport.....why don't they ever get a clue....bitching about the loss of tourism revenues, while they let the jewelry, grand palace, tuk-tuk scams continue?....always two steps forward, then two steps back...

It's typical Thailand. I've lived in Bangkok for 10 years and can tell you Thais are clueless about how to keep tourists coming and how to protect their reputation.

I tell everyone that asks now, don't come to Thailand. There's better places - Malaysia for instance. Great respect for tourists and easy visas too (90 days at airport in KL, not the 30 day Thai bullshit).

Dont go in any KING POWER DUTY FREE shops at bangkok airport. You could end up being accused of theft/shoplifting and arrested and miss your flight home unless you pay a big fat bribe to the airport security and police.
Dont expect your embassy to help you, they always side with the thais.
It is another Thai scam against tourists.

I used to buy stuff there with my leftover money, but absolutely never again....thais have just about scammed there way out of the tourism business...

AVOID THE SHOPS AT BKK BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

Why do the thais have to be so greedy?
They even charge people 500 baht a day for overstaying. The Thais treat tourists and visitors like ATM machines.

And western countries penalty for overstay is , arrest, deportation, and don't come back, would rather pay a nominal fee then go through that! What countries in the world you can break their laws, an overstay in the UK is Jail. A seasoned traveler doesn't let themselves be treated like an ATM machine anywhere. How is complaining about the U.S helping thailand?? You always say to help your own people,so what have you done to help Thailand's people??? Is it your lie's,propaganda,U.S bashing or the insult's that you love to dish out but criticize everyone else for using??? Must be a canadian thing to constantly insult everyone....
