Former Stanford tennis standout Scott Lipsky teamed with Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico to post a first-round victory in the main draw of doubles at the SAP Open on Monday night at HP Pavilion in San Jose.

Today he will play in a Wimbledon semi-final, the first British player to feature in the final four of the men's doubles since Mark Cox in 1977.
