To be honest with you, Linux is far away from being able to make windows fall, they are all doing their own distro in their corner, with updates every 24 hours that can take up to 100 megs... and the fact that the big names like Photoshop, Itunes and others don't work (even in Wine it is a mess)...(even if I am using jolicloud in dual boot on my laptop).
But Apple on the other hand is getting a name with their computers, ipod, iphones... and with a Tablet PC around the corner I would say that they might hurt Microsoft very hard in the future... In my opinion windows 7 is not a huge hit, it's an honest product but not a revolution... |
